Election of Board Members

Election of Board Members Your Board of Education is composed of five citizens elected to serve terms of four years each. At the end of a term, Board members who wish to serve again must be reelected.

Voting for Board members usually takes place on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. The entire Board is not elected at the same time but a portion of the Board is elected every two (2) years. Election of Board members occurs in odd numbered years.

The Board selects a president and vice-president from its members at its organizational meeting in January of each year.
