District Leadership Updates Announced for 2025-2026 School Year

Southwest Local Schools is proud to announce several leadership updates for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. These changes reflect our continued commitment to strong, student-focused leadership across the district.

At Harrison Elementary, Katie Conley has been named Principal. With a proven dedication to academic excellence and student growth, Mrs. Conley brings a wealth of experience and passion to her new role. Joining her at Harrison Elementary is Patrick Burns, who will serve as the new Dean of Students. Mr. Burns is excited to support students, staff, and families as he steps into this important leadership position.

At Miami Whitewater Elementary, Lindsey Long will transition into the role of Assistant Principal. Known for her strong rapport with students and staff, Mrs. Long is eager to bring her leadership experience to the Miami Whitewater community.

At Harrison High School, we are pleased to welcome Abigail Morris as the new Dean of Students. Mrs. Morris brings a student-centered approach and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
