The Kelly O’Leary Center (TKOC) is here to help individuals with autism and their families by providing a state-of-the-art diagnostic program, treatment services and support services. They also provide parent education and training programs that enhance the lives of individuals with ASD and their families.
The Hamilton County Special Olympics
The Special Olympics is an organization that promotes community and activity for individuals with special needs. The activities and sports they offer include bowling, soccer, basketball, and many more. Several students in our school district participate in these events. The Ohio Department of Education is the governing body of public schools in Ohio. Their website provides information regarding special education in Ohio, as well as wonderful information regarding the general education curriculum and Ohio Achievement Testing.
This is a website that provides families with children who are receiving special education services with information detailing their rights as outlined by federal legislation, in particular IDEA. It also provides free on-line courses for parents to take that engage them in learning the law.
